Safety First: From the Bottom to the Top

Our fifteen point plan to hosting a safe and successful event.

Sanitation

  1.  All areas of the CN Tower thoroughly cleaned and sanitized on regular intervals including public and staff-only areas ventilation systems, security tent, elevators, washrooms and the event space using anti-microbial shield Germasolve and Ecolab quat sanitizer.
  2. Conducted enhanced cleaning and disinfection of high-frequency touchpoints, using electrostatic disinfectant spray system, as well as hand disinfecting of high-touch and difficult-to-clean areas.
  3. Hand sanitizer stations located throughout the building.
  4. PPE disposal bins located throughout the building.

Team Training and Awareness

  1. Staff in all departments have been thoroughly trained in physical distancing and enhanced hygiene measures.
  2. Team members provided with personal protective equipment that is up to date with the most current public health recommendations.

Building Areas

  1. Installed floor decals and signage throughout the building and property to reinforce physical distancing.
  2. Reconfigured or eliminated queuing to allow for physical distancing.
  3. Reduced overall capacity within CN Tower.
  4. Elevators are operating at reduced capacity and self guided to allow more space between guests.
  5. Larger event spaces available to allow for physical distancing amongst event guests.
  6. Mandatory mask or face covering requirements for all staff and guests entering building.

Food and Beverage Service

  1. Food and beverage service areas have had plexi-glass installed to provide protection between staff and guests.
  2. Choice of updated menus that reflect service standards based on public health recommendations such as chef-served food stations, individually packaged hors d’oeuvres and plated meals.
  3. Furniture placed with strict adherence to physical distancing.

In accordance with the mandate issued by the Province of Ontario, proof of vaccination (two doses plus 14 days) is required for admission to the CN Tower for all patrons 12 years of age and older.

Please ensure your event staff and guests are prepared to provide their official vaccination record and a valid ID to enter the Tower.
